I am leaning more towards Modern MBA's insights make much more sense in hindsight. Especially given how many moving pieces there are when it comes to successfully building and selling an EV if you were to start in the 2000s v the 2010s. But again, the engineering culture in China has long prioritised an internal modular way of bringing parts together. US approach being a reactive and cost cutting approach to modularity.
